Everything you need to know about N11 Motorsports, the Jet World Championship, and how to get involved.
About JWC
What is the Jet World Championship?
+
The Jet World Championship (JWC) is the world's first sanctioned jet air combat sport series. It combines live Aero L-39 Albatros aircraft with professional pilot-gamer competition units, scored in real time using server-side GNSS telemetry. It is operated by American Jet Center (AJC) and sanctioned by the International Air Combat Sport Federation (IACSF).
When does Season 1 begin?
+
The inaugural Jet World Championship season is scheduled to launch in 2027, with 12 events across 5 continents. Venue dates and schedule will be confirmed following title sponsor and operational partner confirmation.
Where will JWC events take place?
+
Season 1 venues include Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Toronto, Mexico City, Panama City, São Paulo, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney — covering North America, South America, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Oceania.
Who sanctions the JWC?
+
The Jet World Championship is sanctioned by the International Air Combat Sport Federation (IACSF) and operated by American Jet Center (AJC). N11 Motorsports Inc is the founding corporate entity responsible for team structure, sponsor relationships, and competition unit management.
About N11 Motorsports
What is N11 Motorsports Inc?
+
N11 Motorsports Inc is the founding corporate entity of the Jet World Championship. We are not a participating team — we are the operator and organizational structure behind the JWC. Think of N11 as the corporate entity that builds and manages a team within the championship framework, similar to how Red Bull GmbH operates within Formula 1 rather than being the series itself.
Where is N11 Motorsports based?
+
N11 Motorsports Inc is incorporated in the United States and operates with a globally-minded team. Our operational home base is in Texas, where American Jet Center is headquartered.
What does the N11 in the name refer to?
+
N11 is inspired by aviation's tail number culture — the alphanumeric identifiers used to register and track individual aircraft. The name represents our roots in real aviation while signaling our ambition: to be Number 1, Number One, N1 — in competitive jet sport.
Competition
What is a Competition Unit?
+
A Competition Unit is the fundamental entry unit of JWC competition. It consists of one Aero L-39 Albatros aircraft, one certified pilot who physically operates the aircraft, and one professional gamer who manages the weapons systems and tactical overlay from a synchronized ground station.
How is scoring determined?
+
Scoring is entirely server-adjudicated. A successful engagement scores +1 for the attacking unit; a sustained engagement scores −1 for the defending unit. All scoring data is captured by VectorNav VN-300 GNSS/INS systems operating at 400 Hz — providing centimeter-level accuracy with no human referee involvement.
What aircraft is used?
+
All JWC competitions use the Aero L-39 Albatros — a high-performance jet trainer used by air forces globally. Its proven safety record, performance envelope, and operational accessibility make it the ideal JWC competition platform.
What is the event week format?
+
Each JWC event runs Thursday through Sunday. Thursday is Media Day (press access, sponsor activations). Friday is Practice (open sessions, system calibration). Saturday is Qualifying (bracket seeding). Sunday is Competition Day — the main event with live broadcast, spectator audience, and real-time GNSS-adjudicated scoring.
How does the pilot rank system work?
+
The JWC uses a four-tier rank system: Pilot (entry level), Senior Pilot (competitive), Flight Lead (advanced), and Squadron Lead (elite). Rank is earned through competition results, experience, and technical certification. Rank is displayed on competition chevron patches worn by each pilot.
Safety
What are the pilot safety requirements?
+
All competing JWC pilots must hold and maintain current 8G peak G-load medical and physical certification. Certifications are verified before each event. Additionally, all pilots must meet IACSF registration and operational requirements.
What altitude rules apply during competition?
+
Competition takes place within mandatory altitude corridors: a minimum floor of 1,500 ft AGL and a maximum ceiling of 10,000 ft AGL. These limits are enforced via GNSS telemetry — any breach triggers an automatic scoring penalty.
Partnership
What is the title sponsorship?
+
The JWC title sponsorship is a unique naming opportunity. The title sponsor names the team — choosing what the competition unit is called in all broadcasts, press materials, venue branding, and media coverage. There is one title sponsorship available per season.
How can my brand get involved?
+
N11 Motorsports offers partnership tiers from Title Sponsor to Official Supplier. Use our contact form to request a full sponsorship deck, media kit, and a conversation with our partnership team. We offer category exclusivity and tailored activation packages at each tier.
Are Season 1 positions still available?
+
Yes — title, primary, and official partnership positions for Season 1 are currently available. We encourage early conversations as these positions are limited and some carry category exclusivity. Contact us at info@n11motorsports.com or through our contact page.
